About our Honiton bar
Independent & family-owned
Originally from Essex, The Hagon family moved to Honiton over twenty years ago and have called it home ever since.
The bar is named after one of the owners, Jim ‘Bruv’ Hagon, who had a long-running dream of running a pub. That became reality when an opportunity came up to take on the old Cafe 102 Bar, which was a much loved venue in the town for several years. Jim is well-known for calling everyone ‘Bruv’ – hence the bar’s name.
Having stood empty for three years the building needed a major refurbishment, which Jim and friends spent three months to complete. Everything from the tables to the bar itself was expertly crafted by Jim from hand.

Inclusive and Accessible
We don’t want any of our customers to feel excluded so we’ve installed an accessible toilet and included baby-changing facilities.
Additionally, we have ramps for all the steps so the whole bar is disabled and wheelchair accessible.
Dog Friendly Pub
We LOVE dogs and love it when your four legged friends visit. They’re guaranteed a fuss and a treat. We can offer them fresh water and you can even purchase some dog ice cream so they feel included.
Our very own dog, Prince (pictured centre) is probably the softest security dog you’ll ever meet!
All we ask is that you keep your pooch on a lead at all times.
